Think of it as a refined alternative to Phuza Thursdays with trendy galleries, art museums and studios, cool pop-ups and design stores to browse through, and naturally, gourmet food.

Design Indaba 2018 MBOISA (Most beautiful object in SA) award-winner Thabisa Mjo’s, Mash.T Design Studio has found a new home at 99 Juta in Braamfontein. The design department store is one of the listed sights for today’s programme. Plus there is a pre-launch party set to take place tonight. Enjoy new showrooms that includes Mjo’s Mash.T Design Studio at Apartment 2B which she shares with interior designer Monique Vee, furniture designer, The Urbanative, TittyButt Studio and luxurious homeware knits from the Thandi Collection) and much more.

Every first Thursday of the month, Capetonians and Joburgers get to explore (on foot) new and trendy eateries, curated events at selected art galleries, shop locally made goods and designs until 9pm or late. No tour guides, no schedules and it’s free.
