Supported by Corten steel columns, this cabin-like hideaway rises above the ground in the manner of a whimsical tree house. With the curving timber structure containing the staircase and the main solid wall, the rest of the façade features full-height aluminium frames and solar-laminated glazing, which emphasise the sense of floating among the trees.

Double-volume sliding doors allow for two-thirds of the glazing at the living room and bedroom to be opened, and curved heat-bent glazing used at the top of the circular structure that contains the stair, to allow natural light to filter down through the open staircase treads. Frameless glass balustrades were used to enhance the feeling of openness.
