The Durban Botanic Gardens is hosting an exciting new treasure hunt and learning experience that promises to be a load of fun for children this Easter. Join the inaugural Explore the Gardens Easter Egg Trail Hunt on Easter weekend, 15–16 April 2017.

Catering to the one- to three-year-old, and four- to 14-year-old age groups, the Easter egg hunt will let children explore key areas in the gardens, all while teaching them about the various attractions as they navigate through their themed ‘Explore the Gardens’ map. ‘The Easter Bunny has been up to his old tricks and left clues at the Durban Botanic Gardens for kids to follow, solve a puzzle and claim their chocolatey reward,’ says Durban Botanic Gardens Trust Manager, Kerry Phillips. ‘There will also be other activities on the day, including a baby and kids’ market, face painting and educational family games.’

A portion of the event proceeds will go towards the Durban Botanic Gardens Trust, to fund vital conservation work and protect this special place for locals and visitors to enjoy.
