Ardene Gardens Cape Town
Situated in Cape Town’s bustling southern suburbs the Ardene Gardens is s peaceful retreat filled with perfect ponds, exotic trees and quiet, romantic nooks and crannies. It is the perfect spot to take some time out and spend time with someone special while revelling in the plethora of beautiful plant life and other natural highlights the garden has to offer. Entrance to the Ardene Gardens is free, however donations are accepted at the gate, and it is open between 8am and 6pm daily.

Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens
For over 9 years, the gorgeous, lush and popular Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens in Roodepoort, Johannesburg has been voted the best place to get back to nature. Surrounded by majestic cliffs in the Highveld, the garden boasts beautiful grasslands and streams. The garden will be hosting an under the stars themed Valentines Day picnic on Wednesday 14 February 2018 from 6pm and 9:45pm. The entrance fees are R50 for adults and R25 for scholars. Green Point Urban Park
Boasting incredible views of Cape Town’s popular attractions, Lions Head and Signal Hill, The Green Point Urban Park is tucked away right next to the Green Point stadium. The scenery is perfect for a walk around the beautiful biodiversity park or a picnic on a warm day. Entrance to the park is free and it is opens between the hours of 7am and 7pm daily.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden
Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden is known to be one of the most breathtaking in the world. Nestled on the eastern slopes of the Table Mountain, Cape Town, the garden is home to a unique variety of plant life and incredible art. Take some time to explore the generous greenery or stroll down the Centenary Tree Canopy walkway and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding mountain and city. The gardens are open between 8am and 7pm during the summer months and entrance fees do apply.
