Penthouse 2, the five-bedroom flagship property of the Blue Views Collection, offers visitors to the Mother City access to one of the Atlantic Seaboard’s most sought after properties. With its contemporary design and direct access to an outside entertainment area, not to mention an 8-metre glass-fronted pool, this property offers a unique level of sophistication and style. Situated within walking distance to Camps Bay beachfront and only 100m to Bakoven Beach, it’s not just a stunning property but a prized location to be enjoyed with up to 10 people (or five couples).
Founded by property developer Tony Stern in 1997, the Blue Views Collection has developed some of the most magnificent properties in the Cape Town area, including the more intimate but equally stylish South Beach apartments, providing guests with the ideal balance of privacy, convenience, attention-to-detail and service.
The modern, contemporary feel of the suites at South Beach are complemented by elegant touches such as imported linen and towels, bathrobes and slippers, while services include daily housekeeping, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, parking and a concierge. It’s a self-catering home-away-from-home, but with the luxury amenities of a five-star hotel.

Dine in style
New to the Camps Bay strip, Mantra Café – a chic Melissa’s-owned restaurant and beachside bar – offers a sophisticated yet laid back dining experience with a tasty, but uncomplicated menu. Designed by owners Mark and Melissa van Hoogstraten, the decor features elements made by local carpenters, craftsmen and artists. The light colour palette with copper detailing and raw textures further contribute to the relaxed ambience, and the floor-to-ceiling glass facade means diners can enjoy the breathtaking Atlantic views to maximum effect.

Hike Lion’s Head
The essential ‘must do’ hike in Cape Town, Lion’s Head is a relatively easy hike that starts from Signal Hill Road. The route curves to overlook Camps Bay, and the city and Table Mountain, with incredible panoramic views of the Twelve Apostles, Robben Island and the West Coast. Fit travellers can expect a two-hour hike – don’t forget to take water, sunscreen and something warm should the weather chill.
Sundowner’s at The 12 Apostles Hotel
Its dramatic location on the Atlantic Ocean, flanked by the Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain, makes the 12 Apostles Hotel the ideal luxury location from which to enjoy sunset views. One of the top hotels in Africa and the Middle East, visitors can enjoy seafood and fine dining at Azure Restaurant, or cocktails and bubbly at The Leopard Bar; both prized destinations.
