A new doll with vitiligo will be available in South Africa soon. #Representationmatters and this concept and design is right on time. The new doll is part of the Sibahle Collection which has been at the forefront of creating more inclusive dolls. This includes dolls representing various cultures in SA, from isiZulu, XiTsonga, IsiSwati to isiNdebele, as well as dolls that celebrate albinism to create awareness and dispel myths about the skin condition. Ndanaka which means 'I am beautiful' in Shona, was founded by Caroline Hlahla and Khulile Vilakazi-Ofosu who created the Bounce Essentials Africa collection in 2016.
