Salt wallpaper by Mast Brothers + Calico
Calico Wallpaper has used the salts in
Mast Brothers‘ new chocolate range to create marbled packaging for the bars. Mast is well known for the graphic wrappers that cover its flavoured chocolates, which include unusual varieties like sheep milk and olive oil.
For its Sea Salt Collection, which each contain a different kind of salt, brothers Rick and Michael Mast worked with fellow Brooklyn residents Calico to create a new series of bespoke designs that are on show at the Sight Unseen Offsite exhibition in New York.
Aston Martin Unveils its First-Ever Superyacht
Aston Martin has entered the high-end world of yacht design. The British automotive company has teamed with the Dutch-based firm
Quintessence Yachts to create and manufacture a new watercraft. The AM37 has been unveiled and, according to a statement from the carmaker, ‘captures performance, handling, comfort, and style synonymous with Aston Martin.’

uses live edge supports that are attached to the outside of its casing. Geometry and contrasting black finishes come together with live edge hardwood details, that together make an impressive (and artistic) statement.
Laurent Lighting for Lambert & Fils
Montréal-based Lambert & Fils plans to release their latest lighting fixture, Laurent, this year. The newest design merges opalescent glass spheres with graphic metal components resulting in unique, sculptural fixtures. The two orbs, which hold the black component in place, can tilt slightly in or hang straight depending on how they’re anchored to the ceiling.
It’s a modular furniture system that transforms from sofa, to chair, to bed, to chaise longe – to whatever you like really. Furthermore, it can be controlled through gestures or a mobile app. It’s also good at keeping itself entertained; when ‘bored’, it will start shapeshifting into different configurations to keep you on your toes.
