This year at the annual Dutch Design Week (DDW) Dutch design brand, Vij5, decorated the event’s Press Centre and Business Lounge.
Since 2006, owners Arjan van Raadshooven and Anieke Branderhorst have been creating and collecting signature furniture and décor designs as well as collaborating with other brands that resonate with their style and high-quality standards.
Vij5 was chosen by DDW officials to curate the design of the event’s Press Centre and Business Lounge. In partnership with international brands like ECOR panels, Forbo Marmoleum, Kvadrat fabrics and de Klerk flowers and plants, Vij5 designed a temporary set up that celebrated sustainability and circularity.
The team created an inspiring space at the main office of the Dutch Design Foundation to welcome journalists, photographers and camera crews while at the same time the Press Centre offered work and lounge areas. The Business Lounge was designed and styled as a meeting place with workspaces, WI-FI and wardrobes. A big circle of 100% recycled and recyclable panels created an architectural intervention in the existing spaces.
Both spaces were decorated with different items from the Vij5 collection, made of pure and sustainable materials. Take a look of the picture gallery of Vij5’s design work below.
