One of local fashion’s most exciting new designers on some of his favourite things.

The book I could read over and over again?

All the Harry Potter books.

The most stylish Instagram account everyone should follow?

@spotlighttime. It’s a showcase of emerging fashion designers around

the world.

No wardrobe is complete without…

A statement coat, like Balenciaga’s shrunken-shoulder ones.

The fashion collection that changed my life?

Acne SS 2015. I think it’s because of how relatable it was.

What’s the one movie that most inspired you and your taste?

The 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz. I grew up watching that movie religiously, so I feel like all its details have been engraved in me.

On your coffee table we’ll find…

Bits of fabric, thread, books, sketches and marshmallows.

The most

iconic piece of furniture is…

A brown leather Chesterfield sofa. I particularly enjoyed Marcel Wanders’s clever update on it at last year’s Milan Design Week.

Who inspires me?

Yayoi Kusama. She found a method in her madness.

The one scent I can’t live without is…

Christian Dior Cuir Cannage.

The most original building I’ve recently seen?

It would have to be the M by Montcalm Hotel in London. It just feels awkward, like an optical illusion, which I find quite unsettling and that is what makes it so appealing for me.

The artist everyone should take notice of is…

Ben Eagle. He’s a seriously talented young man and his work is a true representation of today.
