Rosebank’s newest neighbourhood market, where shoppers have been flocking on the last Saturday of every month for their local and artisanal food fix, is stepping it up a notch for its final edition of the year, on 24 November.
The Keyes Pantry Market is more than just about celebrating ethically and locally produced food and products, but also brings people together with a number of exciting activities. To add to the festivities and family-friendly vibe, locals can also look forward to being entertained by a local band. Breakfast and lunch are available from the several Keyes Art Mile restaurants, including Momo Kuro, BGR, MIX at MESH Club, Milk Bar, and Marble.
The popular Pantry Talk for this month's edition will be featuring ‘food-selfie queen,' Christy Strever. The professional photographer will be showcasing some of her work and will be chatting about the creative process for her complex shots. Christy says she “takes pics with food for fun” which includes sticking sprinkles to her face with condensed milk, creating crowns out of tomatoes, or adorning herself in Liquorice Allsorts. The results are brilliant and impactful visuals. Join Strever at 10:30 am in the Mesh Club Cinema for the presentation, talk, and Q&A session.
