The texture of your sheets, the fluffiness of your duvet and the warmth your quilt or winter throw brings are the key comfort factors to keep in mind when setting up your bed. What you may not think of is the bed itself, the design of the side table where you keep your sneaky snacks and reading glasses or, the lighting situation above and around your bed. Here are 6 things to do, to make your bed a cosy space.

Throws and Quilts

Whether you like it silky, fleecy or knitted, a throw on your bed adds an inviting sense of cosiness to your bedroom.  Mungo has just released this seasons colour palette of luxurious Juno throws. These cotton throws have the perfect texture that will add cosiness to your bed.

Traditional Décor

Elegant floral designs or patterns and a whole designers collection of cushions and pillows, old school traditional bedding and décor still expresses luxurious comfort.

Bedside Lighting

Light brings warmth and a new perspective into a space. Design and place the lighting in your bedroom thoughtfully. Consider mounting soft, low watt lighting on the wall above your bed or a free-standing lamp. The perfect lighting paired with warm wood create a cosy space around your bed.

Scatter Cushions

Try to achieve the perfect number of scatter cushions on your bed. Not too many, but the right amount to be able to dive into them.
