Personalise Your Bathroom With Colour

Check out which bathroom colour palettes are on trend and which are still chic choices

Even though our bathrooms are spaces where functionality dictates the overall layout and design, it is important to add personality to this room that we spend so much time in. This year we saw colour trends shift to dark hues paired with monochrome, metallic and brass finishes. Grey, charcoal and even matte black has taken over the standard white and sterile look that held bathroom décor captive for so long. Besides the entrance of these darker shades, bright colours and vibrant patterns still work in the bathroom. We took a look at a few paint brands and what their colour offerings are this year.

Olympic Paint

This year Olympic paints is big on picking paint colours with personality. They chose four versatile bathroom wall colours to consider this year, these colours include their Vibrant Blue, Maybe Mushroom, Glistening Grey, White Sage and sultry Mexican Moonlight.

Plascon Paint

With the design trends this year heading towards making your bathroom a sanctuary that mirrors the entire aesthetic of your home, Plascon’s green and blue paint offerings definitely create a calm and relaxing feel in the bathroom. If that doesn’t fit your style consider Plascon’s May colour the smoky, silvery, old world blue-green called Julianne Jade.

Greens and blues introduce a calm mood into a space, making them the perfect choice for a bathroom, where you can retreat while soaking in bubbles after a long day. ⠀ ⠀ #PlasconSA #Green #Blue #Calm #Bubbles #Tranquility

Dulux

This year Dulux has a vast variety of colour ideas on offer. Consider their pretty pink shade called Tea Rose or blend a cool blue tone with their warmer colours like the rich Mulberry Burst. Deep greys or black walls pair well with bright, vibrant colours.
