Bespoke Kitchen

Tradescant is a movement towards a broader, more personal approach to kitchens

Bespoke kitchen designers

draw inspiration from John Tradescant, a 16th century botanist with the unveiling of their latest product range.

Tradescant is a movement towards a broader, more personal approach to kitchen, furniture and homeware design that reflects individuality.

In keeping with the Lanserring ethos, the furniture is completely bespoke with the featured pieces intended to provide inspiration for one’s own journey and to show the way we think as designers and makers.

Though each and every space is a completely bespoke commission, the kitchen is built around key elements which include:

The Lanserring Oilcloth Island

is inspired by the use of patterned oil cloth as a surface in the kitchen, a technique used in the middle Ages. The design references this traditional style in the combination of polished metal and vividly veined natural stone.

The Lanserring Sink Block

partners the practicality of the traditional butlers sink with the durability of stone and metal to create a stunning centrepiece for the Tradescant kitchen.

The Lanserring Anthwart Cabinet

, a diagonally opening corner cabinet, provides a highly practical and inspirational storage solution with the signature Lanserring shelf rail system. The cabinet is lined with natural finished walnut.

The Lanserring Scullery Table

makes reference to the Victorian Era kitchen table, baking bench and pot stand. The preparation island can be customised with features such as built in electrical scales or lead crystal spice drawers.

The Lanserring Vitrine

presents a contemporary interpretation of the mid-sixteenth century ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ as a practical storage solution that can be modified to any size and finish.

The Lanserring Signature Drawer

, carved from a single block of timber, can be created to the shape of any object a client wishes to organise with precision cut apertures ensuring a snug fit.

The Lanserring Trug

pays homage to the original British garden trug. This versatile piece that stores neatly as a dry storage basket, conceals a folding handle that takes is from kitchen to vegetable garden.

Lanserring Secret Wall Hooks

are integrated seamlessly into the kitchen splashbacks and can be finished to match any surface. When not in use the hooks can be folded up flush creating a clean and refined look.
