Located in the in the Cederberg from 15th July until 30th September 2022 for the flower season. Conveniently located near Clanwilliam and the Tankwa Karoo National Park, The Biedouw Valley is stunning in spring and well known for its beautiful spring flowers and striking landscapes.

Founders Samara Stern and Dez Lundy, who both have extensive experience in events and travel, say their latest glamping offering (now open for bookings) at the Enjo Nature Farm, is a dream escape just over two hours’ drive from Cape Town, where guests can experience the array of spring flowers in a magical setting.

“The luxury tents will be set up on the banks of the farm’s spring-fed dam, and will be spaced out to ensure the utmost privacy for guests,” says co-founder Samara Stern. “The tents will be placed before the blossoming of flower season. This means that guests will literally be sleeping amongst the spring flowers.”

Stern, who points out that there are wild horses in the camp, says that guests can simply relax in the lap of luxury, or as the day warms up, venture out into stunning fields of flowers revealing themselves to the sun. “There will be great photo opportunities to capture special moments and memories of everything the camp has to offer.”

There are mountain biking trails and hiking trails through rock formations and a plethora of flowers and endemic plants from the region to view. Stern says that you can literally feel the power of nature in the camp.

As with all the Canvas Collective pop-up experiences, gourmet food will be created on site in The Field Kitchen restaurant by the resident chef. Guests will be treated to incredible meals paired with local wines in an unforgettable atmosphere where they can settle into the cushy dining chairs, while observing the vast wild space outside. Picnics will also be prepared for guests to enjoy in the veld during the day.

After dinner, guests can stay warm and cosy - sip potstill brandies beside a roaring fire, and enjoy after dark campfire stories and star-gazing the milky way night sky with the naked eye or through the camp’s telescope.
