Michael B. Jordan's career has only been on the rise in recent years, and now, the  Black Panther actor has purchased himself a Hollywood home worthy of a movie star. According to  Variety, Jordan recently picked up a stunning 4,530-square-foot Hollywood Hills compound on a coveted, star-studded street. The  Just Mercy actor bought the abode from former MTV VJ Daisy Fuentes in an off-market deal, paying $5.8 million for the three-bedroom, three-bathroom house.

Photos of the interior of the home are scant, but tax documents reveal that it was built in 1997 and that it features a lengthy pool out back, plus a private balcony on the top floor overlooking the backyard. A separate three-car garage and motor court round out the property’s offerings. Fuentes purchased the home in September 2005 for $4.5 million, and current neighbors include everyone from Lady Gaga to Robert Pattinson to former One Direction singer Niall Horan.

Prior to his purchase, Jordan was living with his parents in a Spanish-style Sherman Oaks home he bought for just over $1.7 million in 2015. In 2017, Jordan told Ellen DeGeneres that it was a “dream” to buy his parents a house. “It was a bucket list thing for me,” he said, though he admitted at the time that he was also looking forward to getting his own place. “As soon as I can,” he replied when DeGeneres asked when he hoped to move out. “I love my parents, but we have a roommate relationship right now, which is interesting. You know, you get home-cooked meals but then you also have random trips to the kitchen in the middle of the night and just the random run-ins that might be uncomfortable from time to time.”
