Since 1946, Sothys has been writing a unique story: that of a demanding, deeply human professional beauty brand, born in Paris and driven by a pioneering vision of cosmetics. Founded by Dr. Hotz and taken over in 1966 by Bernard Mas, Sothys was built on values that still guide them today: respect for the craft, scientific rigor, a love for the profession, and independence.

Growing up within the company means inheriting a responsibility: that of preserving expertise, cultivating a legacy, and evolving with the times, without ever betraying it. Since joining the company, brothers Christian and Frédéric Mas have been committed to continuing this family adventure while remaining true to what defines the soul of Sothys: a special relationship with beauticians, deep roots in communities, and uncompromising standards in the creation of professional treatments.
