Tal Spiegel is Desserted in Paris

Graphic designer and chef pâtissier, Tal Spiegel, has become an Instagram sensation thanks to his colourful Parisian desserts and vast shoe collection

Three years ago, author, chef pâtissier and graphic designer Tal Spiegel introduced the internet to his passion project, an Instagram page called Desserted in Paris that is dedicated to his designer shoes and their matching Parisian dessert creations.

‘I am a graphic designer and chef patisserie currently living in Paris and exploring all the best desserts Paris has to offer along with my huge shoe collection. There is a natural connection between the colourfulness of desserts and shoes, and this is a project I just can’t stop creating! Enjoy!’, Tal wrote on his Bored Panda account.

Tal has since authored the French book Patisseries de Paris (The Desserts of Paris) which features 300 photographs and descriptions of the delectable pastries he has discovered during his journey through Paris and has grown Desserted in Paris’ Instagram followership 300K strong.

when i was asked by @belvederevodka to collaborate with @thecambridge_paris in creating a dessert and a matching cocktail i was thrilled and inspired by flavors that i found to be most related to vodka, such as hazelnuts and blackberries.
