We’re blessed in South Africa for having some of the best weather and climates.

And now homeowners are taking advantage of our fantastic climate by entertaining their guests outdoors.

Furniture manufactures are taking note of the trend, and are now adding luxury with a contemporary twist to their outdoor furniture ranges.

One such furniture retailer is

Always ahead of the curve, their new range of outdoor furniture and homeware is about embracing green calm and bringing the raw textures of nature into our homes in innovative ways.

Greenery continues its uninhibited growth as a means of bringing nature indoors, but also to provide accents and texture to our casual outdoor entertainment spaces.

The Ivy dining table range in wood and steel provides a fresh take on the versatile outdoor table while a range of planters in cool cement, graphite terracotta and ceramic allow you to go green gorgeously.

Coricraft

has now also updated their outdoor range with a new collection of cane furniture.

It includes the contemporary Sedgewick Modular range – with its modern and straight lines – it’s the perfect addition for any patio as it is not only stylish but also extremely versatile.

The modular components offer the customer the element of choice so they can customize the size as per their needs as well as choose their cushions from either in Connel Linen, Connel Mineral or Connel Graphite.

For a more classic look, opt for the traditional Jane range featuring a high back and armrests, the collection includes a one-seater; two-seater and three-seater couch, all with upholstered back and seat cushions.

“Create the perfect setting with furnishings and decor accessories that are ideal for casual and relaxed summer-time entertaining,” says Megan Morgan, Furniture Buyer for Coricraft.  “Coricraft’s cane collection is ideal for covered patio living, simply pair the Indie chair and Onassis Nesting Tables table together, or double up the versatile Cobb Chair and Jardine Chair and Stool as occasional pieces or use them as an alternative seating option.”

“Definitely trending at the moment is the use of softer silhouettes in outdoor living, with an abundance of soft furnishings in muted and natural tones. Think beautiful scatters, cushions, soft throws and interesting décor pieces,” advises Morgan.
