Kris Jenner made a perhaps unexpected move recently, selling her Hidden Hills mansion to cosmetics heiress Katharina Harf, the daughter of Coty CEO Peter Harf. To wit: Coty is the giant cosmetics company that purchased a majority stake in Kylie Jenner’s brand, Kylie Cosmetics, for $600 million and a 20% stake in Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty for $200 million this year.

According to Variety, Harf purchased the sprawling 9,459-square-foot estate for $15 million in an off-market deal a little less than three years after Jenner bought the place for $9.9 million. Under her ownership, Jenner substantially upgraded the home with the help of acclaimed designers Tommy and Kathy Clements and Waldo Fernandez. When Architectural Digest toured the home last year, the “momager” said that her goal when decorating was to make the home feel “like a sanctuary, perfectly calm and peaceful.” And indeed, the zen-like retreat offers a cool and comfortable aesthetic, with massive sliding doors connecting the living room to a covered outdoor patio, walnut floors throughout, and a downstairs main suite tucked away in its own wing for extra privacy.

There are a total of six bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread throughout the house, with most of the en suite bedrooms located on the second floor, along with a second family room and a gym. Much of the space is intentionally monochromatic, providing the perfect backdrop for Jenner’s extensive art collection, which includes a Yoshitomo Nara painting she displayed in the dining room, a Tracey Emin neon sculpture at the end of a first-floor hallway, and an Yves Klein Blue Venus statue near the great room. “Kris has genuinely sophisticated taste,” Fernandez told AD. “This house was a great opportunity for her to express her love of art and design.” It is not known if Jenner sold any of her art or furniture along with the residence.
