Located on the peaceful Vrede en Lust wine estate in Franschhoek, Lust Bistro & Bakery is known for its warm ambience and their KLINK Award-winning culinary and wine offerings.

To celebrate their 5th anniversary, Lust Bistro & Bakery gave their restaurant a new look and feel, introduced a new premium limited edition Vrede en Lust wine and launched a new dinner menu on September 14th 2018.

The refurbishments of the restaurant improved the acoustics of the space and showcases a more modern, cosy and sophisticated ambiance. Baker and chef Jean-Pierre Smith’s famous daily blackboard specials remain a staple amongst the fresh, natural greens and earthy décor and furniture pieces in the bistro. A micro greens home-grown display accompanies the uncomplicated dinner menu offering six starters, six mains and four desserts alongside a selection of the finest wines.

‘We value every customer that has walked through our doors and supported us over the last five years. In honour of our appreciation, we’ve tried to exceed any expectations with our renovations and reimagined menu while staying true to the familiar atmosphere we all know and love; offering more than just a destination but an unforgettable experience,’ said Smith.

The wine estate also released a limited-edition LUST Bistro & Bakery and Vrede en Lust Riesling which is great paired with spicy foods and curries. For more information and to make a reservation and to check out the new décor and menu visit www.lustbistro.com.
