Owned by Mandisa Mushwana and her husband who is a successful Civil Engineer, the Mushwana family home is a contemporary, modern, warm and cosy space all at once.
SCS Architect Etienne Stols designed the home according to his clients request for a modern and majestic home that still feels natural and warm. Seen in the Top Billing tour below, varied textures and tones welcome guests into the home through the entrance hall, which is the perfect introduction to the vibe of the rest of the house.
‘We wanted something extraordinary and we wanted something natural,’ said Mandisa Mushwana.
The combination of water, light, neutral colours and wooden textures soften the hard-concrete lines of the house. Interior designer Liezal Viljoen of Larger Than Design dressed the space for the Mushwanas and broke the modern sterility of the home with soft textures, light and cosiness.
