Today on AD, Architectural researcher Sam Williams breaks down the details of the afro-futuristic nation of Wakanda from Marvel’s ‘Black Panther.’

See the real-world locales and architectural styles that were woven into the fictional landscape of Wakanda and it’s urban capital Birnin Zana in ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’

The film was released in November 2022, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ has already started setting new box office records around the world.

As the world mourned the late Chadwick Boseman, the second film in the series is an undeniable tribute to the award-winning actor who played Black Panther. One of Marvel’s most popular movies, the first Black Panther movie was an instant hit on global markets and catapulted a few of the actors to worldwide acclaim. The film also showcased many different locations around the world.
