‘Just as beautiful as the real thing. Far less frustratingly difficult to keep alive’, says LEGO of the new additions to their latest release - LEGO Orchid and LEGO Succulents. The renowned toy maker synonymous with innovative creations that push the boundaries of toy designs introduced this collection, specifically for adult LEGO fans who enjoy the challenge of intricate designs. The Orchid and Succulets collection follow the highly popular debut of the Flower Bouquet and Bonsai.

The LEGO Orchid consists of 608 pieces, yes, 608 and the Succulents are made up of a casual 771 pieces, so this is definitely for the LEGO lovers at heart. Succulents are very popular amongst millennials and Gen Z plant moms and dads. ‘They say having succulents in a room helps you focus, and we hope this set gives the same feeling,’ says Anderson Ward Grubb, Senior Designer at The LEGO Group. ‘We wanted to create a set that offers a relaxing and mindful building experience to help adults switch off from their busy lives and to most importantly re-focus on something they enjoy.’

The orchid display is truly special because it was designed to look like a real orchid, even down to mimicking how the flowers change over the seasons. The set of 771 can be customized by the user to create their own unique flower arrangements. ‘The design of this set was inspired by a real orchid we had in the office throughout the design process, so we could see how the flower changed through the seasons,’ explains Michael Psiaki, Lead Designer at the LEGO Group.

The Orchid and Succulents will officially be launched on May 1st 2022.
