This year, Skin Renewal celebrates a remarkable 20 years as South Africa’s leading integrative aesthetics brand. This journey began in a small home office and has evolved into a national network of 20 clinics. At the heart of this success story is Dr Maureen Allem, whose pioneering belief that ‘real beauty starts from within’ continues to shape the brand’s patient first philosophy.

Alongside her partner and CEO, Victor Snyders, Dr Allem has championed a holistic approach that fuses cutting edge aesthetics with internal wellness — transforming not only appearances but also lives. From the rise of regenerative medicine to bespoke treatment plans, Skin Renewal has consistently remained at the forefront of innovation.

Equally distinctive are the clinics themselves. Each space is a serene extension of the brand’s ethos; a consistent palette, tactile materials and evocative scents create an enveloping calmness, while subtle nods to local design and architecture ensure that no two clinics are the same. ‘We want our spaces to reflect both care and beauty — once you walk into a Skin Renewal clinic, you’re beginning a journey of transformation,’ says Dr Allem.

Looking ahead, the brand is focused on expanding its world-class offering while mentoring a new generation of practitioners. With a continued emphasis on personalised care, cellular health and natural results, the next 20 years look just as visionary.

As Dr Allem thoughtfully says, ‘Your skin is a mirror of your internal health. When you treat the whole person, that’s when true beauty begins.’
