There’s nothing quite as charming as burning candles during Winter. Although, for most of us in South Africa, it’s more of a necessity than anything else. But candles can quickly become sooty, messy blobs of their former selves. That’s when they quickly get packed away under kitchen counters or old cupboards where they’re forgotten until an emergency summons them from storage. But the beauty of wax is that it can easily be manipulated, and in the case of candles: remoulded. Old candles can become brand new again.
