This year, Moët & Chandon colours the world in red – a shade symbolic of connection, love and the art of celebration, the very essence of the Maison. As the golden light of summer stretches across South Africa, the spirit of festivity arrives in full splendour. And no moment, whether grand or intimate, is complete without a bottle of the world’s most beloved champagne.

To mark the season in dazzling style, Moët & Chandon launches the first-ever Moët & Chandon Festive Pop-Up at Hyde Park Corner, Johannesburg. Alongside it comes a pair of striking limited-edition bottles: Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial in red and Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial in pink. The Pop-Up offers an elegant immersion into the world of French celebration – where the Maison’s spirit of savoir-fête meets the vibrancy of a South African summer.

Celebrating the Past, Toasting the Future

For nearly three centuries, Moët & Chandon has defined the art of celebration not only through tradition but through constant reinvention. Each bottle is both a reflection and a promise – honouring memories while embracing the future with optimism.

This season, the Friends of the House share their own reflections. For Zozi Tunzi, the year has been one of transformation: marriage, her first global acting role in Netflix’s Bad Influencer, and new music set for release in 2026. “2026 feels like the beginning of my second act,” she reflects.

For Maps Maponyane, reflection is a celebration of the journey itself. From building his dream Johannesburg home to expanding his creative work, his Moët moment is simple: “I’m living a life I once only imagined.”

Actress and filmmaker Nambitha Ben-Mazwi looks back with gratitude, marking her tenth year since leaving corporate life to pursue her artistic calling. Her 2024 milestones include stepping into European cinema and taking on her first executive producing role.

Presenter and musician Zulu Mkhathini celebrates both personal growth and collective triumphs. Preparing for his return to music in 2026, he credits Moët & Chandon as a symbol of excellence that transcends lifestyle, culture and entertainment. “What we do today becomes tradition for the future,” he says.

Rooted in nearly three centuries of craftsmanship, Moët & Chandon’s latest festive showcase blends historic heritage with contemporary flair

Limited-Edition Bottles that Capture the Spirit of Savoir-Fête

To magnify the magic of the season, Moët & Chandon unveils two limited-edition bottles designed to make every toast unforgettable. Red, the Maison’s emblematic festive hue, takes on a distinctly South African mood – vibrant on Joburg’s rooftops, radiant along Cape Town’s shoreline, and alive wherever joy gathers.

Step Into a World of Light at the Hyde Park Festive Pop-Up

Set to become one of Johannesburg’s festive-season highlights, the Moët & Chandon Festive Pop-Up is where celebration takes physical form. Guests are invited to personalise their limited-edition red bottle, pose before the Moët & Chandon mirror, and leave with a Polaroid keepsake – a tangible marker of their Moët moment.

In the words of Zozi Tunzi:“A memorable celebration feels effortless yet unforgettable. Moët & Chandon elevates these moments – it’s been present at some of my life’s most important milestones.”

Maps Maponyane sets the mood with intention:“Instead of multitasking life away, I focus on the stories shared over a glass of Moët & Chandon… It’s all about intentional connection, with a side of sparkle.”

Just as every vintage captures the spirit of its era, these moments of reflection and connection become memories worth savouring. In life, as in champagne, the art lies in balance – between past and future, tradition and reinvention. And what better place to begin than the Moët & Chandon Festive Pop-Up.

The Moët & Chandon Festive Pop-Up runs from 14 November to 7 December.
