Sheilam Nursery in Robertson is home to one of the finest collections of specimen plants in the world, including a large variety of cacti, succulents and cycads. Grow Your Own

Grown from rhizomes that enjoy temperatures above 25˚C, the turmeric plant will happily flourish on a sunny windowsill when temperatures get frosty outdoors. Their only requirement is that the soil should not get water logged as this rots the rhizome.
