With National Cocktail Day being celebrated on the 24th of March, and autumn soon approaching, try these three vibrant cocktail recipes that are easy to make and quite delicious. Whether you prefer a fruity drink, blended or on the rocks, these unique botanicals add a distinguished taste to the harmonious flavours of the beautiful gin cocktail.
A gin cocktail is sometimes tricky, but if you stick to simpler concoctions, the gin will speak for itself. With the Roku Gin, on the nose are notes of Cherry blossom and green tea, providing a sweet and floral aroma. While on the palate, you experience a complex, multi-layered, yet harmonious flavour of various botanicals. There is a traditional gin taste in the base, plus characteristic Japanese botanical notes including yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit) as the top note. Not forgetting the ultra smooth and silky texture of the gin, with a crisp Japanese Sansho pepper to bring a little spiciness to the finish.
