To celebrate the first day of Spring on September 1, New Grove Rum and Radisson Blu Waterfront will be hosting a one-night-only rum dinner experience. A lucky GLAMOUR staffer was invited to preview the experience, where five rum-inspired cocktails were paired with five dinner courses.
The 5-course dinner experience takes place in the Radisson’s Tobago restaurant which overlooks the ocean, making it the perfect setting for date night, a night with friends or a weekend treat.

Marinated tiger prawn, basil avocado mousse, tabasco pearls, peppered beetroot, celery cucumber salsa, virgin Mary gazpacho paired with New Grove Plantation Rum and Rossa Mary (vegan option pictured)
Cape Malay sweet potato soup, apricot glazed chicken, cinnamon crisps, toasted cashew nuts, pumpkin croquette, pea puree paired with Mauritian Spiced Rum & Pumpkin Daiquiri.
Sesame smoked snoek maki, tempura banana, wasabi aioli, pickled ginger foam, punzo gel paired with Vanilla Rum & Banana Split
Coriander crusted beef fillet, horseradish mash, carrot puree, lime buttered carrots, kiwi thyme chutney, parsnip crisps, jus, paired with Kiwi & Lime Rum Daiquiri
Dark chocolate coffee and black bean cake, salted beetroot mousse, orange gel, amerena cherry, orange meringue, paired with Rum Café Espresso Martini
