When The Good Life Show arrives in Cape Town this May, it brings with it a feast for the senses - and a culinary lineup that reflects the future of food. With a focus on sustainability, wellness, creativity, and culture, the event will showcase top South African and international chefs, food innovators, and mixologists, all gathered to inspire and delight.

Here are some of the standout names we’re looking forward to seeing at the show:

Abigail Donnelly

As the Food Director for Woolworths Taste Magazine, Abigail is a tastemaker with a refined palate and editorial influence. Her live demonstrations bring a beautifully curated simplicity to the stage. “This is truly a place where food meets purpose,” she says.

Amerae Vercueil

Celebrated South African cookbook author, stylist, and nutritional coach, Amerae, creates stunning dishes for modern lifestyles, with a focus on vegan and allergy-conscious cuisine. Her approach is as artistic as it is nourishing.

Bettina Campolucci Bordi

Clement Pedro

Known for his roles on Afternoon Express and Expresso Morning Show, Clement blends bold flavours with vibrant storytelling. He’s a familiar face with a passion for sharing great food and good energy.

Dr. Aris LaTham

A pioneer of raw gourmet cuisine, Dr. LaTham is an advocate for vitality and longevity. “I’m 77 and still climbing coconut trees,” he says. “This is what good living is all about.”

Greg Henderson

Executive Chef at the Palm House Boutique Hotel and a decorated forager, Greg’s award-winning work champions wild ingredients and sustainability. His dishes reflect the landscape and his deep respect for it.

Jameson Stocks

The British celebrity chef is known for his engaging presence and refined technique. “I cannot wait to share this amazing experience with you all,” he says.

Jenny Morris

A beloved South African icon, Jenny is a Food Network star, author, and founder of the Giggling Gourmet Cooks Playground. Her infectious laugh and flavour-packed demos promise memorable moments.

Luke Lawrence Barry

Currently Executive Chef at the Belmond Mount Nelson, Luke blends global experience with a local ethos. “The Good Life Show is the perfect platform to showcase bold, plant-based food,” he says.

Roxanne Read

With 18 years in mixology, Roxanne is a leader in African cocktail culture. As the head trainer at the European Bartender School, she’s shaping the next generation of talent while championing equity in the hospitality industry.

Ru Furusa

As chef/owner of Utano Kitchen, Ru brings Afro-Asian flair to the table. Her dishes combine innovation, nutrition, and sustainability, always rooted in cultural depth and modern creativity.

Siphiwe Sithole

A farmer, chef, and founder of African Marmalade, Siphiwe is a powerful advocate for indigenous crops and traditional foodways. Her work bridges past and future, plate by plate.

Surendra Kumar
