Bulgari Hotels & Resorts recently announced that award-winning South African architecture studio, SAOTA, have collaborated with Milan-based architectural firm, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel on their luxury hotel & resort they plan to open on the hills of Los Angeles in 2025.

The film set worthy Bulgari Hotel & Resort L.A. will be the second Bulgari resort to open in the U.S. and will follow the opening of their Miami hotel & resort in 2024. According to Forbes, the L..A. Bulgari Hotel & Resort will feature 58 luxury rooms and suites, eight private estates and a signature restaurant. A nearly 1000 square metre spa, a gym, cinema and an eight-seat sushi bar will complete the larger property.

According to reports, the vision behind SAOTA and Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel’s plan of action focuses on the natural environment and accommodates the concerns of nervous neighbours. Forbes reported that more than a thousand trees will be planted to maintain the property’s natural habitats which will then be integrated with hundreds of old-growth and native canopy trees. Ultimately the resort will be environmentally safe and offer a tropical, almost Balinese feel to visitors.
