Always at the forefront of innovation, Zaha Hadid Architects are now entering the virtual gaming world.

The firm has partnered with popular video game PUBG Mobile, to bring exclusive and cutting-edge designs to their map updates.

PUBG Mobile is a multi-player game where players battle it out on a visually and tactically rich built environment - or battleground - complete with buildings, strategically-placed landmarks, and ruins.

The battleground contains a multitude of architectural props that allow gamers to experience real-world surroundings in a virtual environment.

Not only does this enhance their gaming experience but allows people to experience innovative architecture in a whole new way.

According to a release on the ZHA website: “The firm is partnering with PUBG Mobile in an upcoming collaboration that will enable players around the world to experience innovative architecture in the virtual world.”

This collaboration is the first of its kind and opens up the way for architects and designs to experiment with new frontiers of technology and virtual reality.
