Celebrating 16 years of contemporary South African art, the FNB Joburg Art Fair has released the dates for 2023. Join thousands of other art lovers this September and get your tickets. Known as Africa’s longest running contemporary art fair and returning to the Sandton Convention Centre from 8 to 10 September, be sure to add this three-day affair to your calendar.

As described on the official site, FNB Art Joburg plays an instrumental role in developing and sustaining a commercial industry that centres around African and diasporic practitioners. Africa is home to a plethora of artists who shape and document the cultural landscape of this continent.

FNB Art Joburg is hosted in the economic hub of South Africa and the city adds its own flair to the event.

Whether you’re an avid art enthusiast or wanting to delve into the world of local art and learn more about African creativity, the event has something for everyone.

According to the official site, the fair is divided into six specialised sections: gallery HUB, gallery LAB, MAX, ETC, AUX, and ORG sections. Each space providing unique experiences through art, from talks to incubations that work with emerging art galleries to help test new business models to transform the local landscape.
