If you consider yourself a filmophile, this is definitely an event to add to your calendar. The programme is titled Harboured and will showcase video art and film screenings curated by renowned photographer, filmmaker and curator Brent Meistre of Analogue Eye.

Analogue Eye is a non-profit project that embraces video art by emerging and established artists. The short 5-minute films created by 11 artists from both Italy and South Africa will explore “mythologies, ideologies and histories between safe and unsafe harbours”. This basically means that each film focuses on the complex relationships between Africa and Europe and through its unique setup, engages viewers in a public yet private manner.

The Silo District will also be providing visitors with ambient entertainment and treats at popular restaurants in the district. The After Hours Hub did officially kick off on Wednesday 14 February between 7pm and 11pm. But you still have an opportunity to attend on Thursday 15 and Sunday 18 February between the hours of 4pm and 11pm.
