Asanda Sizani, the reigning Editor-in-Chief of Condé Nast Glamour SA is a force to be reckoned with.

After succeeding Pnina Fenster, who had been editing the title since its launch in 2004, Asanda joined the Glamour team in June 2018.

A graduate of Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a Red & Yellow School of Advertising alumna, Asanda is now a renowned media luminary with great style and industry influence.

Before her move to Glamour, Asanda held a position as Fashion and Beauty Director at Elle South Africa. She also worked as fashion editor for Destiny, Destiny Man and Drum magazines.

About the move Asanda said, ‘I am honoured and humbled to be taking up the mantle of Editor-in-Chief of Glamour at such a pivotal time for all women’s voices’.

In addition to representing the brand’s editorial vision, Asanda is developing a fresh vision for Glamour and creating new ways to connect with the brand’s diverse audience.

In a bold move this week, Asanda and her team of creative geniuses deleted Glamour SA’s entire Instagram feed. After making such an attention-grabbing statement, we wonder what the team behind South Africa’s most Glamourous magazine have in store for their audience. Stay tuned to find out.
