For the next instalment in this ongoing series, the H&G team dug deep in their saved archives to share designs, people and interior pieces that inspire them. With so much design inspiration and limited characters, here are our favourite posts of the week. We hope it inspires you too and don’t forget to follow our Instagram account.

Serene neutrals

Now that’s a kitchen! Designer Noa Santos, whose monastic masterpiece was on our Feb/March cover this year, is a master of creating impact using architectural volume and proportion with a tightly edited palette of natural materials. Here Taj Mahal Quartzite is perfectly paired with blonde timber and ceramics that look like they were pulled from an archaeological dig – it’s a space that’s at once polished and serene while also being textured and organic. - Piet Smedy, Editor-in-Chief

Green with envy

I truly believe a huge green wall in my house would dramatically improve my wellbeing. I mean, just look at it! It resembles a moss-covered cliff side you'd find in an ancient forest. If you don't find this visually appealing, I can't help you. - Walter Hayward, Managing & Syndication Editor

Let there be light

I absolutely love this space! Peter Zumthor’s work has been on my moodboard lately, and feels incredibly organic with optimal use of the space. This particular kitchen has that unreal natural light streaming in that makes you feel connected to nature. - Alyx Carolus, Digital Editor

The best kind of holiday inspiration

Surrounded by lush greenery, the trickles of water and rich in history, the wonderful Chateau de Sannes in France is where I wish I could currently be. After undergoing a recent renovation to upgrade the estate, the chateau is still full of character and charm with nodes of romance around every corner. If I am lounging by a pool this holiday season, I will pretend it's this one. - Yashna Balwanth, Senior Features Writer

Colour lovin’

I'm really into monotone rooms lately and this room gives me all the Destiny's Child - Say My Name music video feels. My all time favourite girl group so this immediately caught my eye! - Lesley Mathys, Group Managing & Syndication Editor
