For the tenth instalment in this ongoing series, the H&G team dug deep in their saved archives to share designs, people and interior pieces that inspire them. With so much design inspiration and limited characters, here are our favourite posts of the week. We hope it inspires you too!

Lakeside Luxury

The idyllic Lake Como in Italy has been on my travel list for years now. There's something about the sprawling mansions, crystalline waters, and verdant mountains that exudes elegance. This stunning villa perched high above the lake is an excellent combination of modern amenities with old-school charm. That view alone is worth the astronomical asking price. - Walter Hayward, Managing & Syndication Editor

Wooden touches

Emma Chamberlain’s new space is such a feast for the eyes. I love how much personality she injected into her newly renovated home. And I especially love how she’s made it clear that her space is for her, and whether you like it or not, she loves it. - Alyx Carolus, Digital Content Producer

More is more

When more is definitely more! This dining room is extremely over the top, kitsch in every sense of the word and a maximalist's dream. While I could never have this within my own home, I can certainly appreciate the art behind the hand painted floor to ceiling tiles and detailed chairs. This space was created by ceramist @francescadimattio in collaboration with artist @garthweiser and captured by the talented photographer, @annieschlechter - Yashna Balwanth, Senior Features Writer

Pared-back and minimal

I am low-key obsessed with Kim Kardashian's Axel Vervoodt's designed home, so when her skincare brand announced that they'll be releasing the home accessories range I died slowly because one I can't afford it and two there's a high chance that we won't even get the range in SA. So, I will be living vicariously through SKKN's Instagram posts and hope one day when I buy my own home I will use the minimalist approach she always goes for in my own space. - Arthur Mukhari, Digital Traffic Manager

Greenery overload

I have an absolute green thumb and find comfort in my indoor jungle. I have 65 plants in counting and find it very therapeutic and exciting watching new leaves grow and unfurrel. Spring is definitely in the air as it seems like my plants have woken from a slumber and are busy sprouting everywhere. Pudi my cat absolutely loves my plants and with his green eyes he fits right in. I work on a daily basis with my sensory system and between my plants and my cat all I still need is eucalyptus essential oil for scent and a must have morning coffee for taste. - Vine Lucas, Digital Campaign Manager
