Against the backdrop of the newly refurbished Nobu at One&Only Cape Town, House & Garden South Africa and Range Rover hosted an intimate evening celebrating the release of the Apr/May 2026 issue, currently on shelves nationwide. The evening marked more than a cover reveal. It was a gathering of brands and guests united by a shared appreciation for considered design, craftsmanship and modern luxury.
Held within the private Reserve Room, the dinner brought together close friends of House & Garden, Range Rover and One&Only Cape Town for a quietly elegant evening of exceptional food, wine and conversation. Guests were welcomed alongside two standout vehicles positioned on arrival: the flagship Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport, each embodying the same restrained sophistication and refined detailing that define both the newly reimagined Nobu interiors and the House & Garden aesthetic.
The partnership between House & Garden and Range Rover felt particularly fitting within the context of Nobu’s redesign. Much like the luxury marque’s approach to automotive design, the refreshed restaurant balances precision, atmosphere and materiality with effortless confidence. It is a space that speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression.
Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a curated multi-course menu by Nobu, led by head chef Nicky King, who made history as the restaurant’s first female chef. Each course was thoughtfully paired by award-winning sommelier Luvo Ntezo, whose wine selections elevated the experience even further, creating a seamless dialogue between flavour, design and hospitality.
The evening also celebrated the enduring relationship between House & Garden and brands that continue to shape the contemporary luxury landscape. Range Rover’s presence underscored this shared philosophy of innovation, craftsmanship and elevated living. As guests moved between conversations over candlelight and impeccably plated dishes, the synergy between the three brands became unmistakably clear.
At its heart, the evening reflected what House & Garden has always championed: beautifully considered spaces, meaningful experiences and the people who bring them to life.
