The highly anticipated Poetry of Living concept store is set to open in the iconic former Laughton’s space in Sea Point, Cape Town. ‘We wanted a store that could bring our full lifestyle-offering to life, from ceramics to sleepwear and outdoor furniture,’ says Shelley Prinsloo, general manager of Poetry and Green Thread Design Centre. Poetry has partnered with beloved eatery Our Local to transform the store into a destination where customers can immerse themselves in South African creativity.

Spier Wine Farm, one of South Africa’s most eco-conscious working wine estates, is poised to welcome guests to its reimagined hotel this March. This major transformation comes at an opportune time, as visitors increasingly seek immersive, sustainability-driven experiences. Guests can explore rewilded indigenous gardens featuring 39 000 fynbos plants, while the expansive wellness spa boasts a Cape Herbal Bath House. The 80-room hotel offers luxury suites, two farm-to-table restaurants and a rooftop sundowner bar, complemented by one of the largest heated pools in the Winelands.
