Tranquil walkways, local art and sculptures and rare species of flora and fauna await at the Tokara wine farm, nestled in the Banhoek Valley below the magnificent Stellenbosch vistas.

The Tokara wine farm features a dedicated indigenous garden, a picking garden and an inspiring vegetable garden which grow a wide variety of plants all year round. A few of these plants will be open to the public to admire and some will even be on sale at the Rare Plant fair, on Saturday, 13 April 2019.

From indigenous flora such as fynbos and proteas to more exotic experiences, this popular event will appeal to all plant lovers, foodies and wine connoisseurs alike. The Autumn Open Garden and Annual Rare Plant Fair will run from 9am to 4pm and the Tokara tasting lounge, restaurants and delicatessen will be open as usual.
