1. On a Grand Scale

Large bathrooms can be challenging to decorate. Install fixtures and furniture that match the scale of the room so that they don’t get lost. Similarly, use oversized floor tiles to bring the space together and make it look smaller than it is.

How to get the look  WOMAG has a huge selection of marble flooring that can be cut to the size you require. For a similar colour, ask for ‘Jetstream’.

2. A Permanent Fixture

A drop-in bath provides an opportunity to customise the finish to suit the design of your home. Interior designer Gregory Mellor positioned this bath against the wall to free up floor space in this small room, building it into a stone surround.

Where to get it Choose from a selection of drop-in baths from Lavo Bathrooms or Boutique Baths and consult a specialist

for the finish of your choice.

3. Two in One

To create a multifunctional wash space, add a glass screen to a built-in bath in the corner of a room with a wall-or ceiling-mounted shower mixer.

How to do it Consult an expert at Geberit or Duravit to help recreate this look.

3. Bathroom-Cum-Living Room

Don’t be afraid to use fabric in a bathroom — seen here in this traditional design by John Jacob, where blue-and-white upholstered furniture softens the space.
