It's nothing but the best for Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s 11-month-old daughter, Stormi. Scott recently presented her a gift of a chair made of stuffed animals that retails for upwards of $25,000—and Stormi loves it. “Daddy dropped off a new chair for Stormi,” Jenner captioned a sweet video of the baby girl excitedly enjoying the plush furniture. “And omg this girl threw the bag over her shoulder I can’t.” In the clip, someone off-camera hands Stormi a Louis Vuitton bag, which she then dangles on her right wrist as she waves with her left hand. The chair, which is composed of what looks to be a pile of black plush dolls heaped onto a moon chair, is part of a limited-edition-series collaboration between São Paolo–based designer brothers Humberto and Fernando Campana and internationally acclaimed American artist Kaws.

Image: Instagram/KylieJenner“For each design, the Sao Paulo–based duo combines sets of soft toys—from generic animals to icons like Mickey Mouse—into giant cushions to be sat on,” design and architecture magazine dezeen explains. “The Campanas are renowned for using unusual, and often found, materials to create sculptural furniture pieces—with examples including rope and doormats.”

Kaws’s influence in the piece is in the cartoon figures themselves, which are instantly recognizable as his trademark characters, frequently used in his pieces.

According to New York gallery Friedman Benda, which showcased the Kaws x Campana collaboration at Design Miami in December, Kaws “draws inspiration and appropriates from pop culture animations to form a unique artistic vocabulary across various mediums.” A rep for Friedman Benda declined to disclose the actual value of the chair that Scott purchased, telling People, “The limited edition series sold out during the run of the fair to an international clientele of mostly contemporary art collectors, including Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner. To protect our collectors we don’t disclose pricing.”
