Habitas Namibia accordingly, harnesses this landscape’s otherworldly beauty and sense of vastness and in this remote context offers immersible experiences centred around the concept of connection.

The 12 spacious tented suites – comfortable but uncluttered – come kitted out with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end experience, but don’t detract from the setting – which is the focus, and especially multi-sensory when the suites’ sides are rolled up. The unending views from the hilltop site are simply staggering – even more so when you consider that Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport is only 30 minutes away.

Engaging with the setting informs all activities – from sunrise yoga on a deck, to daily game drives or bush meditations. The ‘setting’ here entails more than just the landscape, however. Habitas is intent on preserving culture through authentic experiences – from your welcome to the lodge with a traditional Himba Myrrh ritual and wilderness walks with members of the San community learning about the properties of plants to local music performances, bush braais and fireside storytelling.
