Conceived by multidisciplinary ceramicist Jan Ernst and Condé Nast House & Garden Editor in Chief Piet Smedy, the CUSP exhibition is the first of its kind offering discerning collectors an unparalleled access to tomorrow’s most sought after pieces by the country’s leading names in functional design. Guided by a uniquely open-ended brief, the designers were commissioned to create two pieces – one off, original – that showcases their skill and imagination without constraint, focusing on material and craftsmanship.

More than twenty collectable design pieces by eleven of the country’s leading designers in one space for a limited time. The exhibition features never before seen work by: Jan Ernst, The Urban Native, Design Afrika, Wild Design, Frances V.H Mohair, Oliver Whyte, Matthew Das neves, Meeco Studio, Kevin Frankentel for Lemon, Khosi Leteba of Bupa Studios.

We are proud to showcase the work of these incredible designers. See their designs below.
