The A4 Arts Foundation in Cape Town has opened up its space to renowned German publishing house TASCHEN to give book enthusiasts access to some of the most exquisite art books on the planet.
The pop-up shop launched on 15 May and will run till 15 July 2019. The tastefully curated selection includes a collection of titles featuring renowned artists, photographers, designers and architects such as Annie Leibovitz, Zaha Hadid, Marlene Dumas, Wolfgang Tillmans, Ren Hang and many more.
A4 is a super cool (and necessary) space situated in District Six, Cape Town. It’s a free to public art centre that offers an exhibition space, a library, and a residency program.
Fashion designer and co-ordinator, Hamzeh Alfarahneh says, ‘TASCHEN and Frank Schönau provide the public with fantastic access to a range of practises and ideas. A4 Arts partners with existing organisations to nurture the artistic landscape in Southern Africa. The pop-up provides a place for conversation and collaboration.’
