Receiving a gift in an iconic Tiffany blue box is always an exciting time. But imagine receiving 24 of those in the days leading up to Christmas.

Now you can with Tiffany and Co’s new advent calendar. The luxury jeweller released the latest version of their annual calendar comprised of a selection of ready-to-wear holiday adornments.

It’s not entirely clear what the gifts will be but based on the 2019 version - which famously retailed for $112 000 - you can expect anything from 18k Gold Triple Drop Earrings ($4,600 USD), a Sterling Silver Harmonica ($695 USD), and more.

This year, Tiffany & Co is upping the opulent factor by having the calendar take the form of a four-foot tall white oak cabinet that features a recreation of artist Jean Michel Basquiat’s famous Equal’s Pie painting.

The jewellery brand recently made headlines when they revealed a campaign with the painting starring Beyonce and Jay Z. Previously, Equals Pie had never been seen by the broader public before.

Each individually-wrapped blue box inside the cabinet will contain “jewellery and objects” The calendar will retail for approximately $150 000. In addition, Tiffany & Co will donate $250 000 from the proceeds to non-profit organization, Free Arts NYC. The NGO provides arts and mentoring programmes to underprivileged communities.

Customers wanting to purchase a calendar can make an appointment on the Tiffany & Co website.
