For the next instalment in this ongoing series, the H&G team dug deep in their saved archives to share designs, people and interior pieces that inspire them. With so much design inspiration and limited characters, here are our favourite posts of the week. We hope it inspires you too and don’t forget to follow our Instagram account.

Bold and bright

One of my favourite things about being on holiday are the lavish hotel rooms, extravagant front lobbies and beautifully designed restaurants you can indulge in even if it's just for a moment. This Memphian Hotel out in the USA sports their Tiger and Peacock cocktail bar overlooking the city with bright and bold interiors in my favourite shades of course. Throw in a disco ball and it's officially a party - Yashna Balwanth, Senior Features Writer

Oaxacan Temple

Located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, this boutique hotel (@casato) can definitely be described as a temple. The construction mainly consists of layered concrete, which sharply contrasts with design elements that are inspired by nature. I'd love to spend a few days at this hotel and live my slow living fantasy. - Walter Hayward, Managing & Syndication Editor

Green on green on green

My passion is plants. I am a natural green thumb girl and fell in love with my indoor jungle during lockdown. My favorite plant is a monsteras and the most exciting part of having indoor plants is watching new leaves grow and unwrap as if they are dancing in the sunlight. I also find plants to be very therapeutic and helps create a calm environment in your living space while bringing in some life. - Vine Lucas, Digital Campaign Manager

Prints galore

Berlin-based content creator, photographer and model Vanellimelli is one of my all time favourite creatives to follow. Her Berlin apartment is to die for and she’s finally released a set of prints I’ve had my eye on for ages. Her work feels really fresh and fun - I love it! - Alyx Carolus, Digital Editor
