1. Create one area in your home that is your own space

This space is your ' sanctuary' which means that no toys, devices or other clutter are allowed in here! This is so essential for moms who might feel completely overwhelmed with demands & people in her space all this time.  Create a nook or room of sorts where you can retreat to. Taking your own time is more crucial than ever.  It might be your bed or a bathroom. Or your favourite chair. Maybe you are lucky enough to have your own study or room. Tidy this room up & place items that give you joy - your favourite books, a candle, a flower. Take time to make your favourite hot or cold drink every day & retreat to this area.

4. 'Shop' your home

Open your cupboards, unpack things that you might have forgotten about. Rearrange open shelves for a new look. Or swop around lamps & other decorative items in your home. Make new scatter cushion covers. Switch curtains in rooms around. Move around your art or other wall coverings & voila, you have a new look.

5. Relax & enjoy your home

Now is not the time to think about what you don't have or what might be wrong with your home. Be grateful for the space that you do have & take time to relax in it.
