Radisson RED Hotel V&A Waterfront, Cape Town (RED) recently launched the first in its masterclass series. Led by RED’s Head Chef, Morné Botha, together with celebrity chef, food stylist and cookbook author,  Zola Nene, the exclusive masterclasses offers participants expert insight into the art of cooking simple, delicious meals with a contemporary twist. It’s all about sharing and the experience is a rare opportunity for foodies to learn from two of the best in the culinary industry.

The classes are limited to twelve participants only and will take place once a month for the next three months under a different theme. Both chefs will present different recipes according to the monthly theme, which they will then prepare step-by-step together with the participants. Once all the cooking is done and dusted, everyone is invited to pull up a seat and break bread as they tuck into the day’s delicious creations.

The theme for the next class, fitting for Heritage Day is Braailicious — the art of cooking with and fire — on 24 September from 9h30am to 13h30. Book and purchase your tickets via Nutickets for R675 per person. This includes all meals prepared during the masterclass, drinks, a take-home goodie bag, and prizes.

You can also book your ticket on the Radisson Red website.
