Celebrated South African hotelier, Siyanda Dlamini acquires River Meadow Manor

The luxurious accommodation boasts a variety of facilities and 30 guest rooms for a private wedding, conference function or for tourists in search of a leisure stay.

The venue is another feather in the cap for Dlamini who is looking forward to adding large scale conferencing and wedding capabilities to his extensive property portfolio and Level 1 BEE hotel management business, Tribute Hospitality Group.

River Meadow Manor has a setting rich with history as a property previously owned by Jan Smuts. The hotel feels like a country escape with lush green pastures and 100-year-old oak trees, yet remains conveniently close to two major city centres and is just 20 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport.

Accommodation

River Meadow Manor offers guests well-appointed contemporary rooms with high ceilings, large bay windows, modern en-suite bathrooms and private patios set amongst landscaped gardens, canopied by majestic oak trees. The spacious 27 sq. rooms offer king size or two separate beds, air-conditioning, underfloor heating, capsule coffee machine and mini bar. Also on offer are; fibre Wi-Fi, disabled facilities, 24-hour security, unlimited parking, a shuttle service and airport transfers.

Conferences

Five conference rooms ranging in size and offerings are situated around the property and can accommodate a variety of conference requirements and set ups, including Banquet, Cabaret, Classroom, Boardroom and Cinema. 

Weddings and Private Functions

The extensive venue suits a variety of functions from wedding, to baby shower, gala dinner, kitchen tea and year ends. 2020 will see the launch of an exclusive 250-seater glass conservatory designed for premium functions, the 350-seater multipurpose conference venue, and a bespoke wedding chapel that is soon to be constructed.
